These fleeces are from ewes that are primarily Corriedale with some Clun Forest or other breeds. Traits tend to fine to medium type wools, with more information given where possible.
Corriedale is a reliable, multipurpose wool that is a pleasure to spin, knit, crochet or weave. Well defined, even crimp provide loft and elasticity and make it an excellent handspinning wool. Easier to spin than many wools of similar fineness. Takes dyes well. A medium-soft, resilient wool ideally suited for sweaters, socks, pillows, blankets and other textiles.
