In the fall of 2013, we had the opportunity to purchase a small group of purebred Clun Forest ewes and rams as part of a dispersal. We saw this as an opportunity to breed and raise some of our own rams, as well as offer purebred rams raised in a commercial environment to other producers.
Clun Forest sheep are a maternal breed, known for excellent mothering and medium prolificacy. They are well suited to grass based production. They have a narrow head and shoulders which helps contribute to their ease of lambing and makes the rams a good option for breeding to ewe lambs. Clun Forest sheep are also known for their excellent fleece qualities.

Hi!
I’m wondering if you have any Clun ewes or ewe lambs for sale? Don’t have to be registered. I got a ram from Mary Dobson years back- I believe you bought her flock? I’m looking to expand my ewe lines a bit.
Thanks! 🙂
Liezel
